King Frederik and Queen Mary host New Year Reception
On Tuesday, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted their third New Year Reception. They were driven from Amalienborg to Christianborg Palace in the Gold Coach, escorted by the Guard Hussar Regiment’s Mounted Squadron.
At the Palace, they hosted a reception for Officers from the Defence and the Danish Emergency Management Agency, the I., II. and III. ranking classes as well as invited guests of major national organizations and royal patronages.
Prince Joachim was a guest as the Brigadier-General of the Danish Embassy in the US.
Queen Mary wore her Birgit Hallstein top and Heartmade skirt with grey pumps and her Hugo Boss clutch. She also wore the Antique Diamond Earrings and Queen Josefina’s Diamond Brooch.
