Spanish State Visit to China - Day 1
On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia started a three-day State Visit to China. The Royal Couple spent the first day of the State Visit in Chengdu.
While King Felipe opened the Spain-China Business Forum, Queen Letizia presided over the commemorative event of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Antonio Machado at the “Poet Xue Tao Memorial”.
Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended an official lunch hosted by Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Committee of the Communist Party of China in Sichuan Province, and Shi Xiaolin, the Governor of Sichuan Province.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia then traveled to Beijing where the rest of the State Visit will take place.
In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended a private dinner hosted by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the First Lady, Peng Liyuan.
Queen Letizia first wore her COS black coat with her fuchsia tweed dress, bespoke Magrit pumps (with thanks to Vanitatis, similar pictured), and her Carolina Herrera bag. She paired the outfit with her Dime Que Me Quieres earrings and her Coreterno ring.
In the evening, Queen Letizia wore a repeated dress with her Magrit pumps and her Coreterno ring.
