Spanish State Visit to China - Day 2
On Wednesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia spent their second day in China. They were officially welcomed by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the First Lady, Peng Liyuan, at the Great Hall of the People.
Afterward, Queen Letizia and the First Lady visited the Demonstration Center for Services for People with Disabilities, the most specialized and comprehensive provincial-level center for people with disabilities in China. They toured the center and met with staff and patients.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia then went to Tiananmen Square, where they laid a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes.
In the evening, the Presidential Couple hosted a gala dinner in honor of King Felipe and Queen Letizia in the Great Hall of the People.
The Presidential Couple and the Royal Couple then attended the first of two concerts that the Orchestra of the Royal Theatre of Madrid is offering in China, at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing.
Queen Letizia first wore a Carolina Herrera coat with a The 2nd Skin Co. dress. She paired the outfit with her Magrit pink pumps and her Magrit pink bag. She also wore her Gold & Roses earrings and her Coreterno ring.
