Queen Mary visits Egypt - Day 2
On Sunday, Queen Mary spent her second day in Egypt following the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
She first visited the Giza Pyramid complex where she saw the Sphinx of Giza and entered the Great Pyramid of Giza.
Afterward, Queen Mary received a private tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Queen Mary then met with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The meeting focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and Egypt’s leading role in reaching an agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip. They also discussed the advanced level reached in relations between Egypt and the European Union as well as the imperative to strengthen efforts to stop the war in Sudan.
Queen Mary first wore her Polo Ralph Lauren shirt with beige trousers and her Jerome Dreyfuss phone case.
Queen Mary then wore a Zimmermann outfit with her Max Mara belt. She paired the outfit with her Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and bracelets by Dulong Fine Jewelry and Rebekka Notkin.
To meet with the President, Queen Mary wore her Jesper Høvring blouse with a repeated skirt, her & Other Stories belt, and her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also wore her Rebekka Notkin earrings and necklace.
