On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia presided over the annual meeting of the Cervantes Institute Board of Trustees at the Royal Palace of Aranjuez. The Cervantes Institute is a public institution created by Spain in 1991 for the promotion and teaching of the Spanish language and for the promotion of Spanish and Latin American culture.

Before the meeting, King Felipe and Queen Letizia presented the “Ñ 2025 Award” to professor and essayist María Delgado in recognition of her work in the dissemination and international promotion of the Spanish language.

After the meeting, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a lunch for the trustees of the Cervantes Institute, Ibero-American ambassadors accredited to Spain, and other authorities.

Queen Letizia wore a Carolina Herrera blouse (with thanks to Nuria), with black trousers, her Hugo Boss belt, and her Massimo Dutti shoes. She paired the outfit with her Aldao Joyeors earrings and her Coreterno ring.
