Queen Silvia visits Qatar with Mentor Arabia - Days 1 & 2
This week, Queen Silvia is in Qatar for a three-day visit with Mentor Arabia. Queen Silvia co-founded Mentor International which is a non-profit development organization working to help young people find a path towards a promising future.
On Monday, Queen Silvia attended Mentor Arabia’s 5th Youth Empowerment Film and Song Competition Award Ceremony in partnership with the Doha Film Institute and Qatar Museums.
On Tuesday, Queen Silvia attended a Social Entrepreneurship Program showcase with Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. The program aims to empower Arab youth through social entrepreneurship and ethical leadership
In the evening, Queen Silvia and Sheikha Moza bint Nasser attended the Mentor Arabia Gala Dinner. In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “Young people are the cornerstone of sustainable communities and the architects of a brighter future. By empowering them with knowledge, tools, and support, we ensure not just their personal growth, but the resilience and prosperity of entire societies. Sustainable communities thrive when young people are equipped to make informed decisions, take responsibility, and contribute meaningfully. Mentor Arabia is a vital catalyst in this journey, promoting youth well-being and values of entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation. On Tuesday, Queen Silvia first wore her Thalia shirt with red trousers and her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps. She also wore her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
On Tuesday evening, Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend gown with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Judith Leiber clutch. She also wore her Beauty Gems necklace.
