The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh visit Nepal - Day 3

On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh spent their third day in Nepal. They first visited the Botanical Gardens at Godawari, where they planted a magnolia tree beside a tree that was planted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1986.

Afterward, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh toured the ‘Living Mountain Lab’ at the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development to learn more about how Nepal and the wider Himalaya adapt to the climate crisis.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh also visited the Gurkha Welfare Trust Area Welfare Centre and Residential Home to hear more about the support and accommodation provided to former-Gurkhas and their families.

The Duchess of Edinburgh wore her Chloé blazer with a white top, her Zimmermann skirt, and her TOMS shoes. She paired the outfit with Stella McCartney sunglasses, Giulia Barela earrings, her Cassandra Goad necklace, and her Missoma bracelet.
