King Frederik and Queen Mary host Culture and Art Gala Dinner

On Friday, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted a Gala Dinner for Culture and Art at Christianborg Palace. Queen Margrethe was also in attendance.

The traditional gala dinner celebrates guests representing arts and culture and was held for the first time by Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik in 1976.

After the dinner, King Frederik and Queen Mary joined their guests on the dance floor where Les Lanciers was danced. Les Lanciers dates back to the 19th century and became particularly popular in Copenhagen in the 1860s. For more than 150 years, Les Lanciers has been danced at the Court's parties.

Queen Mary wore her Jenny Packham gown with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Prada clutch. She wore her Diamond Necklace Tiara.
