Swedish Royals attend Funeral for Prince Andreas of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha
On Thursday, King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Princess Madeleine, Christopher O’Neill and Princess Christina attended the funeral of Prince Andreas of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha in Coburg, Germany.
Prince Andreas, the head of the formal ducal House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha died at the beginning of April at 82 years old. He was cousin of King Carl XVI Gustaf and his four sisters through their mother, Princess Sibylla and in 1982 he was named as a godfather to Princess Madeleine.
Queen Silvia wore a black pantsuit with a repeated a tall black pillbox hat. The Queen, who is recovering from Hallux Valgus surgery, wore supportive shoes and carried her Chanel Classic Wallet.
Princess Madeleine wore a repeated black Wakakuu jacket and skirt suit. It appears she removed the ribbon from her Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini lace top to wear underneath. She paired it with a new black bag from Toteme and black pumps. She finished the look with antique pearl earrings and a new black braided headband.
