Belgian State Visit to Vietnam - Day 3
On Thursday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde spent their last day in Vietnam. They first met with representatives of the communist party in Hô Chi Minh City.
Afterward, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde met with students of the bakery school of the Belgian company Puratos.
The Royal Couple then visited Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, a Buddhist temple built in traditional Vietnamese architecture.
They also took part in a working lunch on environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) challenges in the private sector.
In the afternoon, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde toured an exhibition about Agent Orange, an ultra-toxic product that was widely used during the Vietnam War. They also met with victims and heard more about how Belgian companies are helping to clean up soils.
In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde attended a reception for the Belgian community living in Vietnam and to thank the Vietnamese authorities for their hospitality.
Queen Mathilde first wore her Natan Couture dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Fabienne Delvigne clutch. She paired the outfit with a Fabienne Delvigne headpiece, her Gucci sunglasses, her Christine Bekaert bracelet, and her Rolex watch.
