Belgian State Visit to Vietnam - Day 1
On Tuesday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde officially started their three-day state visit to Vietnam. They first laid wreaths at the Monument of National Heroes and the Hô Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Afterward, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were welcomed by President Luong Cuong and the First Lady at the Presidential Palace.
The Presidential Couple and the Royal Couple then visited the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.
In the afternoon, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde drank a typical Vietnamese coffee at the Hidden Gem Café in Hanoi.
Queen Mathilde then visited the National Hospital of Pediatrics, which cooperates with the Queen Fabiola Children’s University Hospital, the University of Bruxelles, and the Haute école Léonard de Vinci.
In the evening, the President and the First Lady hosted a gala dinner in honor of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
Queen Mathilde first wore her Natan Couture dress with her Mango pumps and her Fabienne Delvigne hat. She paired the outfit with her Natan earrings and brooch as well as her Rolex watch.
Queen Mathilde then wore a Meer Couture outfit (with thanks to GardeRobeRoyale) with her Christian Dior pumps and bag, and her Rolex watch.
In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore her Dries Van Noten gown with her Sotheby’s earrings and her Rolex watch.
