Icelandic State Visit to Norway - Day 1

On Tuesday, the President of Iceland Halla Tómasdóttir and her husband Björn Skúlason started a three-day state visit to Norway. They were officially welcomed by King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Ingrid Alexandra at the Royal Castle.

A private meeting and an exchange of gifts took place at the Palace with Princess Astrid also in attendance.

Afterward, the President and her husband were joined by the Crown Prince Couple as they laid a wreath at the national monument at Akershus Fortress.

In the evening, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted a gala dinner for President Stubb and the First Lady with Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Princess Astrid in attendance.

Queen Sonja first wore a blue coat with her Eliot Zed pumps and her Chanel bag.

In the evening, Queen Sonja wore a repeated yellow gown with her Judith Leiber clutch. She wore the Leuchtenberg Emerald Tiara.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit first wore a Christian Dior blazer dress over an Adam Lippes dress. She paired the outfit with her Aquazzura pumps and her Prada clutch. She also wore her Prada headband and her Cartier ring.

In the evening, Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a Dundas gown with her Christian Louboutin pumps, her Nathalie Trad clutch, and her Cartier ring. She wore the Amethyst Necklace Tiara.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra first wore her mother’s Brock Collection coat with Michael Kors pumps and her mother’s Sarah’s Bag clutch. She also wore a white headband and her mother’s Pomellato rings.

In the evening, Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore her mother’s Ole Yde gown with her mother’s VBH clutch. She wore the Pearl Circle Tiara.
