Grand Ducal Couple gives interviews to mark 25 years of reign
This week, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa gave several interviews to discuss the upcoming 25th anniversary of the start of Grand Duke Henri’s reign as well as his upcoming abdication.




The Grand Ducal Couple took part in a podcast interview with students of the European School Luxembourg II in Mamer. The Grand Ducal Couple discussed the role of the monarchy in Luxembourg, the causes they support through their various foundations and engagements, as well as their plans after the abdications.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa also gave an interview to Point de Vue to discuss her work with the Grand Ducal Couple Foundation and the Stand Speak Rise Up! organization. She posed on the cover of the magazine with Grand Duke Henri and her grandchildren, Prince Charles and Prince François.
For the interview, the magazine followed Grand Duchess Maria Teresa as she visited Maison New Step on May 13th. Maison New Step provides accommodation to victims of human trafficking and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa spent time with social workers and the people supported by the organization to hear more about their work and experiences.
