Crown Princess Victoria meets UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

On Wednesday, Crown Princess Victoria met with Volker Türk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, at the Royal Palace.

During the meeting, Crown Princess Victoria was briefed on current issues in the work of promoting and protecting human rights globally. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights orks to promote and protect human rights globally by, among other things, advising governments, supporting UN human rights mechanisms, and coordinating human rights work within the UN.
