King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia host events at the Royal Palace
On Monday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted several events at the Royal Palace. They first received ambassadors in farewell audiences at the Royal Palace ahead of the end of their terms.
Afterward, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia presented The King's Medals and Litteris et Artibus Medals. The King's Medal is awarded for special merits in society while the Litteris et Artibus Medal is awarded for outstanding artistic contributions, mainly in music, stage production, and literature.
Queen Silvia wore a pink jacket with black trousers, her Rieker trainers, and her Darby Scott bag.
