King Frederik, Queen Mary, and Princess Josephine visit Koltur

On Tuesday, King Frederik, Queen Mary, and Princess Josephine visited Koltur, the least populated island of the Faroe Islands. The Royal Couple will start an official visit to the Faroe Islands on Wednesday.

They visited the historical settlements Heima í Húsi and Nor ami í Ger Kongi, which testify to settlement since the Viking era. They also heard more about the ongoing nature restoration, including work on recreating wetlands and planting native plants.

Queen Mary wore her Cintamani parka with her Patagonia jacket and her Laksen trousers. She paired the outfit with her Salomon hiking shoes and a Haglöfs backpack.

Princess Josephine wore an Arc’teryx jacket with Fjällräven trousers and Härkila boots.
