King Frederik and Queen Mary visit the Faroe Islands - Day 2

On Thursday, King Frederik, Queen Mary, and Princess Josephine spent their second day in the Faroe Islands.

They spent the morning in Vágur where they visited 'FabLab' (Fabrication Laboratory), a production workshop with technological equipment available to citizens and companies. They also visited the Vágseiði nature area and the Hamragarður nursing home.

In the afternoon, King Frederik and Queen Mary went to Fámjin, where they visited the company TARI, which farms seaweed and produces seaweed products. They also visited the Mýrifípan kindergarten and they planted a tree to mark the Tvøroyri plantation's 100th anniversary last year.  

Queen Mary first wore a Scandinavian Edition coat with her Uniqlo down jacket, navy trousers, her Etro belt, and her Salomon shoes. She also wore her Sophie Bille Brahe earrings. On the Dannebrog, she wore her Harris Wharf London coat.

Princess Josephine wore her Arc’teryx jacket with grey jeans and her Härkila boots.
