Norwegian Royal Family marks emigration anniversary in Stavanger
On Friday, the Norwegian Royal Family marked the 200th anniversary of the first organized Norwegian emigration to America in 2025. On July 4, 1825, the sailing ship Restoration set sail from Stavanger with 52 passengers on board. They later became known as the first Norwegian immigrants to the United States.
Queen Sonja wore a white jacket with navy trousers and her Christian Dior beret.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Max Mara jacket with a Lafayette 148 jacket and her CO skirt. She paired the outfit with her Aquazzura pumps and her Valentino bag. She also wore her Cartier ring.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore her mother’s navy jacket with her mother’s Andrew Gn blouse and blue trousers. She also wore her Superga trainers and her Maria La Rosa clutch.
