Queen Maxima marks Dutch Brain Bank's 40th anniversary
On Thursday, Queen Maxima visited the Dutch Brain Bank in Amsterdam to mark its 40th anniversary. The Dutch Brain Bank collects brain tissue from deceased individuals, which it makes available to scientists worldwide.
Queen Maxima first attended a plenary session focusing on the importance of scientific research for the treatment of patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders. She then visited the two laboratories of the Brain Bank where brain tissue is processed and stored.
Queen Maxima wore a Natan Couture dress with her Gianvito Rossi grey pumps and a Fabienne Delvigne hat. She also wore her Bodes en Bode earrings and her Stetlman ring.
