Queen Maxima and Princess Catharina-Amalia attend UN General Assembly - Day 1
On Tuesday, Queen Maxima and Princess Catharina-Amalia started a three-day visit to New York City to attend the UN General Assembly. Queen Maxima is attending in her capacity as the UNSGSA for Financial Health and Princess Catharina-Amalia is accompanying her mother to observe her UN work.
They first attended the opening of the general debate of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly with other dignitaries.
They also met with Secretary-General António Guterres, Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, and Courtenay Rattray, Chef de Cabinet of the Secretary-General.

Afterward, Queen Maxima and Princess Catharina-Amalia met with Queen Silvia of Sweden.
Queen Maxima and Princess Catharina-Amalia then met with Muhammad Yunus of Bangladesh.
Queen Maxima also met with the President of the UN General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock.
Queen Maxima wore her Natan Couture outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Ole Lynggaard earrings.
Princess Catharina-Amalia wore her Max Mara suit with brown pumps and a brown clutch. She also wore her Céline sunglasses.
