On Monday, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted their first annual New Year Receptions. They first hosted a reception for Justices of the Supreme Court and the officer corps of the Royal Life Guard and the Guard Hussar Regiment at Christian VII's Palace.
Afterward, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted a reception for Mayors and regional council chairmen at Christian VIII's Palace.
In the afternoon, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted a reception for diplomatic corps' heads of mission with their spouses, heads of representation from the Faroe Islands and Greenland with their spouses, and side-accredited ambassadors with their spouses.
Queen Mary wore a Jesper Høvring navy velvet outfit (with thanks to Billed-Bladet) with her Quidam clutch.
