Queen Silvia attends Mentor Sweden's 30th anniversary seminar & presents scholarships to researchers
On Wednesday, Queen Silvia attended a seminar in the Bernadotte Library at the Royal Palace to mark Mentor Sweden’s 30th anniversary.
In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “This year marks thirty years since I founded Mentor Sweden. During these three decades, we have built bridges between young people and adult role models. People who share their time, their experiences and their commitment. People who show that someone sees them, believes in them and wants them to succeed.”
Afterward, Queen Silvia presented scholarships from the Frimurare Barnhuset Foundation to researchers in pediatrics for studies on children's health and diseases.
