Spanish Royal Family hosts audiences ahead of Princess of Asturias Awards
On Friday morning, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia hosted audiences ahead of the Princess of Asturias Awards in the evening.
Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia first met with the winners of the End of Degree Awards from the University of Oviedo before being joined by King Felipe and Queen Letizia to meet the winners of the Medals of Asturias.
Afterward, Princess Leonor met with the winners of the 2026 Princess of Asturias Awards. She was then joined by King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and Infanta Sofia to meet with the members of the Juries.
Later in the day, Queen Sofia was seen arriving in Oviedo ahead of the awards ceremony.
Queen Letizia wore a Mirto suit with her Massimo Dutti blouse, her Massimo Dutti shoes, and a Carolina Herrera bag. She also wore her Aldao Joyeros earrings and her Coreterno ring.
Princess Leonor wore a Mirto three-piece suit with her PINKCHICguagua pumps.
Infanta Sofia wore her Mango suit with her Magrit flats and her Karen Hallam ring.
Queen Sofia wore an Alejandro de Miguel suit.
On Saturday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa took part in Paralympic Day 2026, a day dedicated to Paralympic sport and inclusion.
