Queen Mary meets Executive Director of UNFPA
On Monday, Queen Mary met with the new Executive Director of UNFPA, Diene Keita, at Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg. Queen Mary has been Patron of the UNFPA since 2010.
The meeting focused on UNFPA's ongoing work and priorities, as well as the challenges the organization faces in its global work. They also discussed "The 10 Million Safer Births Initiative", which Queen Mary launched last year in Nigeria.
Queen Mary wore her The Fold suit.
