Queen Maxima christens research vessel Anna Weber-van Bosse

On Thursday, Queen Maxima christened the research vessel Anna Weber-van Bosse of the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research. The ship enables oceanographers to conduct research from the water surface to the deep sea and from the poles to the tropics.

After the christening, Queen Maxima toured the ship and met with the crew and the scientists. The ship is named after the first Dutch female biologist who made a substantial contribution to Dutch marine science.

Queen Maxima wore her Max Mara coat with her Natan dress, her Gianvito Rossi pumps, and her Sergio Rossi bag. She also wore her Luz Camino brooch. When arriving, her Christian Dior bag could be seen in the car.
