Belgian State Visit to Norway - Day 1
On Tuesday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde started a three-day State Visit to Norway. They departed from Belgium in the morning.
The Royal Couple was welcomed at Oslo’s Airport by Crown Prince Haakon.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde then attended an official welcome ceremony held by King Harald and Queen Sonja at the Royal Castle.
A private meeting and an exchange of gifts took place at the Palace with Crown Princess Mette-Marit also in attendance.
Afterward, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were joined by Crown Prince Haakon as they laid a wreath at the national monument at Akershus Fortress.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde also visited the Norwegian Parliament where they met with President of the Storting Masud Gharahkhani.
The Royal Couple then visited the Gol Stave Church which was built around 1200 and showcases a mix of Christian symbols with Viking motifs.
In the evening, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted a gala dinner for King Philippe and Queen Mathilde with Crown Prince Haakon in attendance.

Queen Mathilde first wore her Natan Couture outfit with her Christian Dior pumps and bag and her Rolex watch.
In Oslo, Queen Mathilde wore a Christian Dior outfit (with thanks to GardeRobeRoyale) with her Christian Dior pumps and clutch as well as her Rolex watch.
Queen Sonja wore a white dress with a pink cape, black boots, and her Chanel bag.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a Christian Dior outfit with her Aquazzura pumps and her Jane Taylor headband.
In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore her Armani Privé gold gown with Giorgio Armani pumps. She wore the Nine Provinces Tiara.
Queen Sonja wore a repeated pink gown with her Judith Leiber clutch. She wore Queen Maud’s Pearl Tiara.
