Queen Maxima attends engagements on circular economy

On Wednesday, Queen Maxima attended engagements focused on circular economy. She first visited the Circulair Groningen Drenthe association which consists of nearly two hundred companies and organizations that invest in the transition to a circular economy in the Northern Netherlands.

Afterward, Queen Maxima officially opened the UPPACT recycling plant in Farmsum. In this plant, mixed plastic and textile waste streams are mechanically processed into new building materials such as posts, planks, and beams.

Queen Maxima wore a burgundy outfit with her Natan pumps and her Hermes clutch.
