Danish Royal Family attends Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine's confirmation
On Saturday, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine were confirmed at Fredensborg Palace Church with their closest family, their friends, and their godparents in attendance. The ceremony was private but the Danish Royal family posed for photographs upon arriving at the Castle.
Prince Vincent’s godparents are King Felipe, Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, John Stuart Donaldson, Caroline Heering, Count Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille, and Baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott. Princess Josephine’s godparents are Princess Marie, the Duke of Castro, Patricia Bailey, Count Bendt Wedell, Birgitte Handwerk, and Josephine Rechner. The service was officiated by Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen.
After the ceremony, Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine, and their family posed outside for the press and answered questions.
Official photos of Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine, and their family were taken by Karen Rosetzsky and released in the afternoon. The photos were taken in their home Kancellihuset before the ceremony.
The Court also shared official photos taken after the ceremony in the Garden Hall of Fredensborg Castle.
Princess Josephine wore a Birgit Hallstein dress with Unisa pumps. She paired the outfit with Julie Sandlau earrings and her mother’s Cenius & Bach ring.
Queen Mary wore a Claire Mischevani suit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her 1602 clutch. She also wore her Susanne Juul hat.
Princess Isabella wore a green suit with Prada pumps and a clutch belonging to her mother. Her hat seems to be by Susanne Juul.
Queen Margrethe wore a repeated outfit with her Mathilde Førster hat.
Princess Marie wore her Giorgio Armani jacket with a black skirt, her Gianvito Rossi pumps, and her Bottega Veneta clutch.
