Japanese State Visit to The Netherlands - Day 1
On Wednesday, the Emperor and Empress of Japan started a three-day State Visit to the Netherlands. The Imperial Couple was first officially welcomed by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima at Dam Square in Amsterdam.
In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a gala dinner for the Imperial Couple at the Royal Palace.
Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Ariane, Princess Beatrix, Princess Margriet, Princess Laurentien, and Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven were in attendance.
Queen Maxima first wore a Natan Couture dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Glorinha Paranaguá clutch. She also wore her Patek Philippe watch.
In the evening, Queen Maxima wore an Iris Van Herpen gown with her Jan Taminiau shoes. She wore the Stuart Diamond Tiara.
Princess Catharina-Amalia wore her Jan Taminiau gown with the Mellerio Ruby Tiara.
Princess Ariane wore a Safiyaa gown with Queen Emma’s Diamond Tiara.
Princess Laurentien wore her Hardies Couture gown with the Laurel Wreath Tiara.
