German State Visit to The Netherlands - Day 1
On Tuesday, the President and First Lady of Germany started a three-day State Visit to the Netherlands. President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender were first officially welcomed by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima at Dam Square in Amsterdam.
Afterward, the Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple visited the National Holocaust Museum. They toured the Museum and met with Dutch Jews to discuss contemporary Jewish life in the Netherlands.
They then visited Resto VanHarte in Amsterdam East to hear more from volunteers and residents about building stronger connections in the neighborhood, reducing loneliness, and improving financial health.
In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a state dinner for the Presidential Couple. Princess Catharina-Amalia and Prince Constantijn were also in attendance.
Queen Maxima wore a Natan Couture outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Patek Philippe watch.
In the evening, Queen Maxima wore her Jan Taminiau gown with the Dutch Sapphire Tiara.
Princess Catharina Amalia wore a Rachel Gilbert gown with her Aquazzura sandals. She wore the Diamond Star Tiara.
