King Frederik and Queen Mary's Summer Tour - Day 1
On Monday, King Frederik and Queen Mary started their four-day summer tour of Denmark with the Royal Ship Dannebrog. They first visited Odense.
They were officially welcomed at Odense Port before travelling by carriage to Odense’s Town Hall where an official reception was held.
King Frederik and Queen Mary then walked to the Fairytale Garden where they learned more about urban biodiversity.
The Royal Couple also visited Odense Cathedral, also known as Saint Canute's Church. They toured the church and saw the tomb of Canute the Holy in the church crypt.

Afterward, King Frederik and Queen Mary attended an official lunch at the Town Hall before visiting Odinskolen to learn more about the school’s collaboration with local companies and educational institutions to inspire children and young people to explore technology, software, and innovation.

The Royal Couple then took part in a city walk in the new Carl Nielsen Quarter and visited the Carl Nielsen Museum.
King Frederik and Queen Mary also toured the HC Andersen's House which was inaugurated in 2021.
In the evening, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted an official reception on the Royal Ship Dannebrog.
Queen Mary first wore her Ralph Lauren jacket with her Paul & Joe skirt and her Etro belt. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Chanel bag. She also wore a Katrin Cecilia Jacobsen hat and Prada sunglasses. Queen Mary accessorized with her Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, her Louise Grønlykke necklace, and bracelets by Rebekka Notkin.
In the evening, Queen Mary wore her Jesper Høvring red blouse with her Giambattista Valli printed skirt. She also wore her Rebekka Notkin earrings and her Christian Dior necklace.
