Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visit Vaasa and Espoo
On Friday, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Finland. They first visited Vaasa to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Court of Appeal. The Court of Appeal was founded by King Gustav III in 1775.
In her speech, Crown Princess Victoria said: “The forward-looking spirit that meets us here today gives reason for optimism. It reminds us that the cooperation between Finland and Sweden continues to develop and deepen. We face the future together – as neighbors, friends, family and allies. With these words, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome Prince Daniel and I have received here today. I hope that the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Vaasa Court of Appeal will provide continued strength and inspiration in your important work.”
The Crown Princess Couple then visited the Wärtsilä Sustainable Technology Hub to learn more about sustainable solutions for the marine and energy industries.
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Aalto University in Espoo to hear about quantum technology, space technology and ice research. They also visited the Aalto Design Factory where they met students from Sweden.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a suit by Finnish brand Andiata with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Susan Szatmary bag. She also carried a scarf by Finnish brand Lapuan Kankurit. She wore repeated earrings, her Engelbert Stockholm necklace, and her Engelbert Stockholm bracelet.
