King Haakon and Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra attend Extraordinary Cabinet Meeting
On Friday morning, King Harald sadly passed away in Oslo. King Haakon and Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra hosted an extraordinary Cabinet Meeting at the Royal Palace, during which the new King gave the cabinet the formal announcement of the passing of King Harald V.
During the meeting, King Haakon also announced that he had chosen the same motto as his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather before him: “Everything for Norway”.
On Saturday afternoon, King Haakon and Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra hosted several condolence audiences at the Royal Palace following the passing of King Harald.
