Queen Silvia opens Museum of the Visually Impaired and meets Bavarian state minister

On Wednesday, Queen Silvia visited the newly opened Museum of the Visually Impaired in Enskede, Stockholm. In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “At the same time, history teaches us that progress can never be taken for granted. Accessibility, participation and independence are values ​​that must be constantly protected and developed.”

Afterward, Queen Silvia met with Ulrike Scharf, Bavarian State Minister for Family, Work and Social Affairs, at the Royal Palace to discuss how experiences from Sweden can contribute to the continued implementation of the Barnahus model in Germany.
