The Duchess of Edinburgh visits Zambia - Day 2
On Tuesday, the Duchess of Edinburgh spent her second day in Zambia. She first attended a meeting with women business leaders.
Afterward, she visited Jewel of Africa where she learned how the company provides ethically sourced Zambian gemstones. The company also works with the UN Refugee Agency to provide employment opportunities for refugees.
The Duchess of Edinburgh, as Champion of the Women, Peace and Security agenda, met with survivors of gender-based violence to see how they use creative expression for empowerment, healing, and advocacy.
In the afternoon, the Duchess of Edinburgh met with the President of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, and the First Lady, Mutinta Hichilema.
In the evening, the Duchess of Edinburgh attended a reception at the British High Commissioner's Residence to celebrate the people and institutions creating opportunities through learning.
The Duchess of Edinburgh first wore a bespoke Soler dress with her Penelope Chilvers wedges and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She paired the outfit with her Giulia Barela earrings, her Tilly Sveeas necklace, her Alex Monroe and Asprey London bracelets, and her Giulia Barela ring.
The Duchess of Edinburgh then wore a Veronica Beard dress with her Prada pumps and her Sophie Habsburg clutch with the same jewels as earlier.
In the evening, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore her MATELIER dress with her Penelope Chilvers wedges and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She also wore her Alex Monroe and Asprey London bracelets and her Giulia Barela ring.
On Saturday, Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Prince Jacques, and Princess Gabriella attended the traditional U Cavagnëtu picnic for Monégasques at the Parc Princesse Antoinette.
