King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attend Car Exhibition at Solliden

Today, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended Entusiastfordonsutställning at Solliden Palace.

Entusiastfordonsutställning at Solliden Palace in Borgholm is a celebrated automotive enthusiast exhibition with roots tracing back to the early 1980s. Initially established as a small, local gathering of classic car lovers, the event quickly grew in popularity, attracting visitors from across Europe who share a passion for vintage and rare vehicles. Held annually on the grounds of Solliden Palace, the summer residence of the Swedish Royal Family, the exhibition beautifully combines royal elegance with automotive history.

The family is full of avid car enthusiasts, with several members known for their love of both classic and modern automobiles. King Carl XVI Gustaf himself has a deep appreciation for vintage cars, often seen attending the event and personally engaging with fellow enthusiasts. The King opened the exhibition and was seen strolling around and talking to owners. His own pedal car from childhood and his Ferrari were on exhibition.

Queen Silvia wore a Camilla Thulin Anne shirt dress from their SS23 Collection with Jana ballet flats. For jewelry she wore a white coin pearl necklace from In2Design.
