Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary led a Danish trade delegation to the United States from September 27 till September 30. They were in both Washington D.C. and Boston, Massachusetts.
Our Editor-in-Chief, Sarah Williams was lucky enough to be at the Massachusetts State House on the 30th, and she took all the photos appearing in this article.
On this occasion, the Crown Princess wore a cream-colored coat by Australian brand KTIX, which she had worn before for a spread in Vogue Australia. She carried a green Nina Ricci bag and wore Gianvito Rossi shoes. Furthermore, she was wearing an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen long necklace and ring. She also wore a simple Cartier Love bracelet.
It is believed she is also wearing an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen pair of earrings and a separate "Love Bands" bracelet.
They had a red carpet arrival before greeting dignitaries on the steps of the Massachusetts State House, including Gov. Charlie Baker. He hosted a luncheon for them inside after their meeting. The Danish and American anthems were played, with slight technical difficulty during the Star Spangled Banner when it stopped in the middle of the anthem. All those in attendance were had a good chuckle at the mishap.
More about their trip can be read here.
