King Felipe and Queen Letizia host COP25 Reception
Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a reception at the Royal Palace for the Head of States, Heads of Governments and members of the delegations attending the COP25.
The United Nations Conference on Climate Change is taking place in Madrid from December 2 to December 13. It was supposed to be held in Chile but following the internal events in the country, Chile renounced to host the conference and Madrid was chosen instead.
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change was adopted on May 9, 1992 in New York and entered into force on March 21, 1994. Since then, the Convention has been the main instrument for deepening and advancing commitments of states against the acceleration of human-induced climate change.
Letizia wore an old white top with a new H&M Conscious skirt. She paired the outfit with her bespoke Manolo Blahnik pumps and her Magrit clutch. She also wore her Gold & Roses earrings and her Karen Hallam ring.
