King Felipe and Queen Letizia start state visit in Andorra

Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia started their two-day state visit to the Principality of Andorra, their first state visit since the start of the pandemic.

They attended a farewell ceremony at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas Airport in Madrid before flying to Andorra. Upon their arrival, the couple was welcomed in Andorra la Vella the ambassadors of Spain in the Principality of Andorra and the Principality of Andorra in Spain and the Head of Protocol of the Government of Andorra and they attended a welcome ceremony.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Casa de la Vall and the Community of Andorra la Vella where they signed the guest book. They also held a meeting with the staff of the Embassy of Spain in the Principality of Andorra at the Andorra Park Hotel.

To end the morning, Queen Letizia attended a working meeting with the Minister of Education and Higher Education of Andorra and representatives from the educational sector to discuss the model of inclusion of students with disabilities in the three educational models. In the afternoon, King Felipe met with the Cap de Govern of Andorra.

In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended an official dinner offered in their honor by the co-princes of Andorra at the Andorra Park Hotel.

For the day events, Queen Letizia wore her Massimo Dutti open-back dress with her Burberry black belt. She paired the outfit with her red Magrit pumps and her Reliquiae red clutch. She also wore her gold hoops earrings and gold Karen Hallam ring.
