Today, Queen Letizia presided over the First Global Forum on the Socioeconomic Impact of Traffic Accidents with Child Victims in Madrid.

Spain, France, Italy, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and India, provided, for the first time, data on the socioeconomic impact that traffic accidents on a group as vulnerable as the children have in countries of different regions and dimensions. In this regard, Spain leads the European Union in terms of reducing fatalities due to traffic accidents.
