Kate takes over The Royal Photographic Society
Today, Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge had taken over the Queen’s patronage of The Royal Photographic Society.
The Duchess, who is a keen amateur photographer herself, marked the occasion by attending a photography workshop for Action for Children, run by The RPS at Warren Park.
The Royal Photographic Society is one of the world's oldest photographic societies, founded in 1853 with the objective of promoting the art and science of photography. In 2017, the Duchess of Cambridge was made an honorary member.
For this unannounced engagement, the Duchess looked ready for summer wearing a dress from Ridley London. The dress, while not available online at the moment in her paisley print, features flutter sleeves and a ruffled trim. She paired this with her Catherine Zoraida Fern Hoop earrings and Castaner Carina wedges.
