Tonight, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Lion King Premiere at Leicester Square in London. In connection with the release of the live-action film, Disney announced the launch of a global conversation campaign called Protect the Pride which aims to “raise awareness for the dwindling population of lions across Africa” and which will be supported by the Royal Foundation. The premiere is also held in support of Harry’s conservation work.

The premiere is held After walking the red carpet, Harry and Meghan met with cast and crewmembers - including Donald Glover and Beyoncé, before watching the new film.

Meghan wore a new Jason Wu black midi dress with her Gucci Broadway clutch and new black Aquazzura Portrait of a Lady sling pumps. Her earrings are custom made by Lorraine Schwartz.
