Kate and Meghan attend Wimbledon Ladies' Singles Final
Today, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex attended the Ladies’ Singles Final at Wimbledon between Serena Williams and Simona Halep. The Duchess of Cambrige is Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and she attends the Ladies’ Singles final each year.
Last year, the Duchess of Sussex joined her in watching the Ladies’ Singles final between Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber as she is also an avid tennis fan and she is great friend with Serena Williams. It’s thus no surprise Meghan joined Kate again this year.
Kate arrived before Meghan as she attended lunch with club members and old champions as Patron. She was then joined by Meghan and her sister Pippa Matthews in the Royal Box to watch the game. Simona Halep won the final 6-2/6-2 in less than an hour. This is Simona Halep’s first Wimbledon trophy! The Duke of Kent who is President of the AELTC handed the trophy to the Romanian player.
Kate wore a fully repeated outfit as she wore her green Dolce & Gabbana dress with her Dolce & Gabbana Sicily bag which she debuted at Wimbledon in 2018. She paired the outfit with her Asprey London Oak Leaf earrings, her Rupert Sanderson Malory pumps and her Ray-Ban sunglasses.
Meghan wore her Givenchy shirt - first worn at the Endeavour Awards earlier this year - with a new Hugo Boss pleated skirt. She also carried a new Stella McCartney clutch bag and she wore her Pippa Small ring, her Jennifer Meyer earrings and her Le Specs Bandwagon sunglasses.
