Duke and Duchess of Sussex start Africa Tour
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex start their tour in Africa. The first country they are visiting is South Africa and the couple arrived in Cape Town with their son Archie this morning.
Their first official event today was a visit to a workshop that educates children about their rights and safety and provides self-defense and female empowerment training for young girls in the community.
Afterward, they visited the District Six Museum in order to learn about the organization’s work to reunite members of the community forcibly relocated during the apartheid era.
To finish their first day of the tour, Harry and Meghan will join a community cooking activity with former residents of District Six at the Homecoming Centre.
