UPDATED: Duke and Duchess of Sussex conclude Africa tour
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending their last day in Africa. Following events in Botswana, Angola and Malawi, the Duke of Sussex is back in South Africa where he joined Meghan and Archie in Johannesburg.
This morning, they visited a township where they met inspiring local youth entrepreneurs and view skills initiatives addressing the rising unemployment challenge faced by youth in the country.
In the afternoon, they met with Graça Machel, the widow of Nelson Mandela. Afterward, they attended a creative industries and business reception at the British High Commissioner’s residence. The reception looked ahead to the Africa Investment Summit that will take place in the UK in 2020.
The tour concluded with a meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa and his wife Dr Tshepo Motsepe.
For the township visit, Meghan wore a new white shirt dress by South African designer Hannah Lavery which she paired with her Stuart Weitzman Legend suede pumps and new Madewell Stone & Tassel red earrings.
For the afternoon events, Meghan wore a fully repeated outfit. She wore her House of Nonie trench dress with her Stuart Weitzman Legend suede pumps. She also wore her Jennifer Meyer ring and earrings as well as her Alemdara bracelet.
