Queen Letizia attends conference on disability
Today, Queen Letizia attended the Third Conference on Informative Treatment of Disability in the Media. The conference is organized by the “A la Par” Foundation together with the Federation of Journalist Associations of Spain (FAPE) and the Royal Disability Board of the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare.
During the day, reflection on the informative treatment of people with disabilities, whose social image is loaded with stereotypes, was invited. A reality in which the media play a very important role. The director of the Royal Board for Disability presented the Style Guide on Disability for Media Professionals which aims to give the media a useful tool to create "a responsible image of disability, respectful of diversity, that promotes awareness and social inclusion of these people".
Queen Letizia repeated a Carolina Herrera printed skirt to this event. She paired it with a navy silk blouse, her navy Carolina Herrera slingback pumps and her Loewe navy leather clutch. Her earrings are from TOUS.
