The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge make stops in Scotland and England during their Royal Train tour
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their Royal Train tour with stops in Scotland and England. Their day started in Edinburgh where it was announced that the couple has become Joint Patrons of NHS Charities which “provide extra funding and additional services above and beyond NHS core funds, supporting hospitals, community and mental health services and ambulances services.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge first met paramedics and staff from the Scottish Ambulance Service to thank them for their work during the pandemic.
Their next stop was in Berwick-Upon-Tweed where they met staff and pupils from Holy Trinity Church of England First School to highlight the incredible work teachers did this year during the pandemic.
For their morning events, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her Catherine Walker blue long coat with her Ralph Lauren black suede boots and a new clutch by Strathberry (with thanks to LadyParky). She paired the outfit with a new Amaia mask, her sapphire and diamond earrings, and black gloves. Later in the morning, she changed into her Stuart Weitzman boots.
In the afternoon, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Batley where they met volunteers who have supported elderly members of their community during the pandemic at the Bartley Community Centre.
Afterward, they met with Len Gardner whom the Duchess of Cambridge had been talking to on the phone during the pandemic as part of the NHS Volunteers Responders’ Check-in and Chat scheme.
In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their last stop of the day in Manchester where they visited Fare Share UK. The charity redistributes surplus food from businesses to 11,000 charities and community groups across the UK and the couple wanted to thank the volunteers for their work.
For their stop in Batley, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her Hobbs Bianca coat over a white knit top and wide-leg trousers that might be her Jigsaw trousers. She paired the outfit with her Emmy London blue suede pumps and a new bag by Métier London (with thanks to MiddletonMaven). she also wore navy gloves and her Simone Rocha earrings as well as a new mask by Amaia.
For their stop in Manchester, Kate kept the same outfit but changed into a new jumper by Brora x Troy London (with thanks to @Palace_Avenue) and another Amaia mask.
