The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge finish their Royal Train tour in Wales and England

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge finished their Royal Train tour with stops in Wales and England.

Their first stop was in Cardiff where they joined students from Cardiff University to hear how their mental health has been challenged during this very difficult year. They also did marshmallow toasting and a secret Santa exchange. They also heard how the Welsh Samba band has been supported by the UK Government’s Culture Recovery Fund.

Their next stop was in Bath where they visited the Cleeve Court Care Home to thank the care staff for their tremendous effort during the pandemic. They also heard about how the staff helped the residents stay connected to their loved ones during the pandemic.

In Reading, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Royal Berkshire Hospital - where the Duchess of Cambridge was born - to meet nurses and thank them for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For her first three stops of the day, The Duchess of Cambridge wore her bespoke red Alexander McQueen over her Emilia Wickstead tartan skirt. She also wore her Ralph Lauren boots and Grace Haan black bag. She accessorized with her Amaia mask and a tartan scarf by Emilia Wickstead. Later on, she also wore a new tartan face mask by Emilia Wickstead.


In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their last stop of their Royal Train tour in Windsor where they joined the Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and the Princess Royal at Windsor Castle.

After listening to carols by the Salvation Army band, the Royal family met with volunteers and key workers from organizations and charities in Berkshire, who will be volunteering or working to help others over the holidays.

For their stop in Windsor, The Duchess of Cambridge wore her green Catherine Walker coat with a new Troy London faux fur collar. She paired the outfit with her Ralph Lauren boots and her Alexander McQueen black clutch. She also wore her Amaia face mask and earrings borrowed from the Queen.

The Countess of Wessex wore a new herringbone coat by Sportmax with her LK Bennett black suede boots.
