Queen Maxima visits the University of Utrecht

Today, Queen Maxima visited the University of Utrecht to learn more about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education and well-being of students and teachers.

During her visit, Queen Maxima met with biology students during one of their lessons. It is one of the few classes that isn’t held remotely. She also met with two COVID-19 coordinators of the University.

Queen Maxima also met with members from the Utrecht Biologists Association who talked about the role that study organizations play to help students bonding, especially for first-year students.

Finally, Queen Maxima met with lecturers, students, and experts from other universities about the lessons learned from the pandemic for higher education.

Queen Maxima wore a new grey coat by Natan over a grey Natan turtleneck and grey trousers. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi grey suede pumps and a grey leather clutch.
