Spanish royal family attends opening of the XIV Legislature
Today, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia attended the solemn opening of the XIV Legislature in Madrid.
The XIV Legislature began with the holding of the constitutive session on December 3rd, 2019. The Solemn Opening of the Legislature takes place once the Congress of Deputies has approved the investiture of the President of the Government that took place last January 7 and the members of the Executive have taken office before the Head of State.
Letizia wore a new white midi dress with her Carolina Herrera black cape. She paired the outfit with bespoke Magrit pumps and clutch and her Karen Hallam ring.
